• On-campus accommodation

To create a friendly environment for study and life of international students, there are dormitories for international students on the three campuses of SCU with people on duty 24 hours. The office of international students assigns specializedstaff to manage the dormitories and help the students deal with problems in their life.

1. Wangjiang campus

East International Student Dormitory

1. Facilities: Air-conditioner, TV set (for renting), furniture, telephone, bathroom, internet access; toilet, bathroom, laundry room and kitchen at each floor for sharing; recreational room, Ping-Pong table, self-pay laundry room.

West International Student Dormitory

1. Facilities:  Air-conditioner, TV set (for renting), furniture, telephone, bathroom, internet access; toilet, bathroom, laundry room.

 N.B. Single room is only open application for degree seeking program overseas students.

Huaxi Campus Overseas Students Dormitory

N.B. Room is only open application for MBBS program overseas students.

Jiang'an campus Overseas Students Dormitory

Address: Shuangliu County, Jiang’an campus of SCU

N.B. Due to Jiangan campus location, room is only open application for Undergraduate program overseas students.

Student who wants on campus accommodation please contact xiaolingwang218@163.com (For American and European and Students), bioluo@scu.edu.cn(For Asian and African Students), nic8203@scu.edu.cn(For Scholarship Students and Degree Students) and register for a room. However, due to limited availability of campus student dormitory, your preference maybe not guaranteed, we appreciate your understanding and corporations.

• Off- Campus accommodation

  You may also choose to live off campus under the condition that you must get a Accommodation Registration Form issued by the local police station of your accommodation. The Accommodation Registration Form is another important certificate for your legal stay in China, aside from your passport and visa. Please keep it along with your passport. It is required for your application of new visa, visa extension, additional entry or residence permit.

  A special reminder is that before you sign for the contract or pay for the rental, do confirm that the owner of the apartment/house property is able to process the accommodation registration for you. Otherwise you will get into trouble of illegal stay. Moreover, you need to renew the Registration Form of Temporary Residence if you have moved to another place, changed your passport or renewed your visa.

  Students who changed their address and contact information while they are studying at Sichuan University must inform the SCU Overseas Students Office of their new and recent address, telephone number and email. It is important for the SCU Overseas Students Office to be able to contact its students because it often sends out important notifications to them. The SCU Overseas Students Office maintains a strict policy of keeping all contact information confidential.
